knobs, mats, dream studios...

All this outdoor work has won me over to the grim realization that Jamin and I have had the same doormat since we were married. That means said rotting woven doormat currently sitting at the front of our humble abode is around, oh, seven years of age. Time for a new one? I think so. Here are a few options...

Love these simple designs from Pottery Barn.

We may also have a winner in this traditional and simple Ballard Designs selection...

Of course I find this oh so clever slection hard to resist...

Though I think I may have a winner in this one, being the hands on original finds sucka for a projects kinda gal I am...

I was shopping for knobs today and actually found some cheapies at anthropologie: {yes these shall adorn the transformed junk furniture I have been scavenging for the nursery} I kind of have a hardware obsession...

They're like jewelry for a room! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE...and while we're on the subject of Anthro, I would EAT these pilows if they cost less than a hundred smackeroos a pop. SIGH. If you can AFFORD 100 bucks/pillow, happy shopping and don't tell me about it. I may become consumed by a jealous rage and forced to pillage your house.

They kind of remind me of an Eric Carle Illustration. {you moms/elementary school/librarian readers out there know what I'm talking about...}

And whilst searching for all these images, I happened upon my dream studio via Elle Decor Circa I don't know when. Feast. Eyes.

We still have our standard-issue-apartment welcome mat. This has inspired me to buy a new one.
And, yes! Those do remind me of Eric Carle!

Doormats: I like the diamond print & the numbers mats. We haven't had our doormat for very long but it's super faded because the sun hits it in the mornings. Good story.

Pillows: So cute!! And no, I will not pay $100 for a pillow. Not that I needed to tell you that. :-)

Studio: That looks exactly like a room I would expect to see in your house one day!

Do you ever run out of new ideas for your home?? I can hardly keep up with what you're changing each week. :-) I have passing thoughts about home decor ideas...and they usually don't come to fruition. womp woooomp.
