diy bow holder

Okay moms. Get out your glueguns. Here is a simple little project all you mommies of girls out there can do to organize that nightmarish plethora that is your daughter's bows. Our old bow holder I made was cute, but just wasn't cutting it in the organization department. So here you are...

TADA!!!!

What you will need:

Old frame

Spray paint

Embelishments

(I made polka dots

with a painty pen)

Ribbon

Glue Gun

Take the old frame and remove everything. But the frame. Paint it whatever color you wish (unless you already like the color...mine were black and I wasn't that thorough since I was hanging them in her closet, but anyway)

Once you are done decorating said frame, flip it, and extend fat ribbon from one side to the next, spacing as you please, securing with your gluegun.

Allow to dry, attach your bows, and VIOLA! A bow holder. Where you can actually SEE the bows. WOOHOO! Dressing Emmy is now a peice of cake. I'm no longer rummaging the toys trying to find the green one or that blue flowery one. Too many? Just like shoes. NEVER.

Speaking of bows...stay tuned later this week for a flower bow giveaway and my two cents on a DIY painting turorial.

The bow holder is genius. And I'm COMPLETELY stoked about the tutorial on painting furniture!! I have at least 5 pieces that are in desperate need of revamp.

Definitely need the furniture painting tutorial! And now I'm trying to think of what else I could store in a frame besides bows. :)
