I finally took a plug at it...
I woke up on Friday morning, feeling inspired. I started digging through some extra fabric I had, and viola! My sorry take on a pillowcase dress was made. I am pretty proud of myself, even if it isn't the most wonderful thing in the world...this was kind of a big deal since I didn't run screaming with the scissors, stabbing violently at the stitches/fabric combo when I was finished!
Next stop: pinafores. Seersucker pinafores. With a matching bow of course... {read: we'll see!}
I made another matching bowtie for Aiden, but the fabric was so thick, it was a bit clownlike when I was finished. Guess I'll have a redo later.
On another note, I added a lot of new products to my etsy store over the weekend. I'm going on "maternity leave" in about a month, and have been put on project probation by Jamin...probably for the best. Does my pinafore have to count???

You did a great job on the dress!!! You need to teach me how to sew (in all that spare time you have HA!) I've had a sewing machine for 7 or 8 years and have only pulled it out a couple times.
I think you did a great job on the dress! She looked so cute in it this morning and I had a sneaky suspicion that you made it. (I have a pattern if you need it, but it doesn't look like you do.) Know that I am here if you ever need any help with stuff like that, not that I am a fantastic seamstress or anything but I like to help when I can.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!!!! Mama's proud!! :) I love it! See how easy it was??? It looks fabulous. I love the single bow; I have never seen them done like that. How very clever and creative of you. Oh I hope I have a little girl so I doll her up (sans pink toenail polish--I am more of a silver/ sheer whitish girl.)
