a few lil projects here and there...I'm starting to putter out.
I'm totally slowing down nowadays. I was actually surprised my fabric AND pattern came so quickly. They are now sitting ever so prettily on my dining room table just begging me to dive in. I'm scered. Not yet. Perhaps I shall start this weekend...either way, I'm not in a rush due to a busy week (read pregnancy exhaustion) Let's just say I find myself not-so-motivated as of late. I hope this is therapeutic and not completely overwhelming.
I think I posted again to remind myself that its still there...
Aiden and I had craft time on Monday. (the fabric came on Tuesday, and Monday was the only time I had for anything else) And by craft time, I mean I made some necklaces, and Aiden chose from my piles of beads to hoard more treasures in what we now refer to as his "treasure chest" (a small box I cleaned out and now let him keep small objects and choking hazards in that make him happy)
I was also busy with some end of the year gifts for Aiden's teachers. They may open them and be all, what the ??? but my block letters have been well received so far, so I hope they can find use for them! I was pretty impressed with my mad wrapping skills, in the meantime. (My wrapping skills are pretty much up to par with my cooking ones, so this was a big deal for me... you should have seen me the summer in college I spent working the bridal registry at Bed Bath and Beyond.) NIGHHHTTTTMAAARREEEE!
The tags actually said "Thank you for wiping my booty all year...love Aiden." Needless to say, his wonderful teachers were gratefully appreciated!

I'll wipe his booty too if it gets me one of those babys!
Love the "brown paper packages tied up with string!"
Oh how cute...the packages are impressive. I don't wrap gifts well so I am easily amused when someone else does! Oh, and cute necklaces! Can't have too many necklaces.
Is the brown paper a nod to the booty wiping?
Oh yes, I said that out loud. Ew.
no kate. that would be a darker brown. what?
