frame, flowers, bow ties, etc.
It's been a while. I have a few. Humor me.

I ordered this gorgeous little pillowcase dress for Emmy for Easter from this shop. She was awesome and gracious enough to send me enough fabric so I could make a matching bowtie for Aiden, and when I had some leftover, a hair bow for Emmy. I was so proud. I figured out how to sew a bowtie by looking at one of Aiden's and was thinking of being a total nerd and posting a tutorial on one since they are hard to come by if anyone was interested...let me know! (read: I won't take the time if no one cares.)
Anyway, me=not a seamstress=so proud. I also did some new pillows this week out of the fabric I ordered here. It was a nesting thing. I have got to chill, but the living room needed a bit of a pick me up, so...I was excited with the (very affordable) outcome. I was inspired by anthropologie's newest addition I posted on a while back, and decided to do double sided ones. All the fabric can mix and match, and when I grow tired, I simply flip.
I do that every now and again. I guess you could call me a bit of a pillow floozie. And there you have it. Bright fun for spring.
A while back, I did a post on this peice of furniture. I was totally thrilled we found such a cheapo peice and upcycled it, if you will. But I needed something else to tie the blue in to our dining room. Enter my planning plus my wonderful husband and VIOLA! we have our biggest project to date...I think he officially hates me now. In my etsy store soon, but if anyone is interested in a great way to change out pics for a fresh updated look, not to be a salesperson, but contact me ;) Frame is 4' x 8'. We are so proud. And we didn't fight once...

The pillows and your frame look great! But really like I expected anything else! :)
Love all of the creativeness! The pillows came out GREAT! Not too bright at all. Love the bowtie...too cute. That frame is fantastic!
Ok, I don't think you're allowed to say you're not a seamstresss anymore. You've sewed enough to consider yourself one! It all looks so good! And I LOOOVVEEE the giant frame!
Wow! That is all gorgeous! OK, once you start doing home consults, I'm booking. :)
