Seamstress I am Not...
Remember this project from about two weeks ago? My fabric came in, and seamstress I am not, but it was fun anyway...I feel like it gives the kitchen a whole new look. My mom said she didn't even know we had an arched window over our sink until she saw the curtains... See ya, blinds.
Jamin and I constructed a window hardware set out of copper pipes again, and I love the modern industrial feel it gives. While I was at it, I also ordered some Amy Butler to highlight some of the mustard golds in my dining room. Table runners are hard to come by, at least one worth paying a hundred smakeroos for, since our table is nine feet long.
I was proud of my semi straight lines and the fact that I cut the fabric symmetrically! - Not to mention saved some moolah. This is a fun DIY... If I can do it, anyone can. Everyone else is probably laughing at me right now, but proud I am, seamstress I am not! (Yoda???)

They look great!!! Love your table runner.
So pretty! I'm jealous of your curtain-creating abilities. :)
The curtains look great, & the runner really brightens the dining room! Ok you're gonna have to teach me to make curtains now. :-)
Looks fabulous!
