Little M's room is finally completed! Thanks to my wonderful Mother in Law who tirelessly worked away to create some beautiful bedding from my very own prints. It's been such a rewarding thing to see all of this come together. I think that working on all of this has been my way of "coping" with the fact that we are having three, and I also viewed not finding out the gender a complete challenge. Loved it. Would do it with all my children if I could have a do over in a heartbeat...

I take it you probably saw the "beginning" phase of this peice on my supa snips page. Quite a transformation! This little (potential) beaut was my version of recycling. I stumbled across it in a flea market and saw the beauty in its faded shape. It was a PIECE to say the least. We sanded, primed, and then painted this buffet, finishing it off with a tea stain and backed it with my fabric. (the old back was rotting, and I figured I can always change it out if I ever tire of it...) Props to Jamin who put up with me through this entire process. It was work!

The prints on the wall are variants of my bedding. Reflected on the wall for visual reinforcement. I also put in the mobile I made which moves gently with the air vent above.

This peice I also found at the local flea market. It was a drab white so we touched it up with a homemade mix of greens I had in the garage, found some knobs via anthropologie, and then tea stained it as well. The baskets below are Ikea, and the chair is a puff chair from Ebay. Contact me if you want the source. Lamp base: ikea top: ballard designs

I found this mirror at Hobby Lobby of all places. Half off. Took it home and gave it a major overhaul with more paint. I feel like I painted til my arms came off...

The small glass table you see in this photo is a family antque via Jamin. It was iron. It was on our porch. It's kind of rotated throughout our home over the years and is now blue and in Baby M's room...

An M I found and painted...a globe via flea market, and an old frame from Ikea, repainted, with funky paper in the middle until baby is born! (I can't stand empty frames...)

A shot of the blanket via my wonderful MIL with my fabric! Hurray! and a shot of a minky pillow I sewed myself (so proud) after my wonderful friend Abbie monogrammed it for me! Props to Abbie.

Since I'm a graphic designer, these printmaking letters are an obsession for me. I think they date back circa 1915. LOVE THEM. Plate: flea market, plaque: me.

Emerson and Aiden's rooms were both on my old blog, which has now been removed from public viewing since I have my new one. A few have asked for a revisit, so I decided to put them on here. I've changed a few things too so these some "new shoots"
