Entries in shirt ideas (1)

halloween hopping with my lil bees

Yeah. Yeah. I know. More absolutely ADORABLE pics of my kids in their costumes. Why? because you love me. So humor me, please.

I totally made some shirts for the kids to wear for the preschool Halloween party/Halloween day. (I helped with their parties, so Malone also made a guest appearance at Emmy and Aiden's school. I was so proud of their matching tees that only took me half an eternity to stitch!)

photo op with daddy to document, before Emerson snotted on hers, Aiden decided to wipe icing from his cup cake on the sleeve of his, and Malone, of course, erupted breast milk. All. Down. The. Front. Check out what a little baldy he is. I think he totally should've gone as a monk.

Here are just a few shots of the kids halloween night.

They had a blast trick-or-treating. Okay. Not really. Malone got fussy and Emmy was mad that I made her wear a tutu. The very idea.

We headed to Wetumpka at my parents house and did some real first class trick or treating in the golf cart. I mean, why walk when you can ride???

Uncle Walt and Aunt Deedee also participated in the fun. Aiden enjoyed gathering his loot, and perhaps Emmy will catch on to the point of it all, next year.

Emmy would get really mad any time we made her get off the golf cart and go get some candy. I guess I would be mad too if I were small and someone made me hike up those stairs in a tutu. (Okay, we carried the little bumblebee princess.)

Well, I have to say, I love how everyone else gets cute pics with my kids. Mine always end up looking like this.

or this.

No one cares that you don't want to take a picture, Emerson. And put your candy down Aiden! SMILE AT THE CAMERA! SMILE, DANG YOU! That's what I was saying through my teeth. Right after I shook Malone. (It's what the pic looks like, anyway...check out his face.) Oh well. At least we DO have official documentation that mommy did participate in SOME events of the children's lives.

This is Aiden making out with a pumpkin. I'm not really sure why he felt the need to kiss said lawn ornament. I watched as a dutiful parent, waiting at the front door of someone's home, when all the while I had to resist the irresistible urge to slash it with my car keys. (That was for those of you who know how I feel about lawn ornaments...)

Malone was pooped after his first Halloween!
