And Now...

A feast for your eyes, oh ye children of the eighties!!!!

{I was going to post this under supastyle. And then I remembered no one reads this likes its a site, but they expect all my posts to be like a blog. At least thats what I think people are doing. It's what I would do. I still can't decide if I should just start posting all on the same page. May make it all easier...Can I get a vote? Separate pages or main blog page for everything? I guess I just highly enjoy the division of it all. Someone please enlighten me! I know you care!}

Anyone else as crazy as I was about Strawberry Shortcake?

How about Care Bears? I totally had this car...They just don't make toys like this anymore...

This is a personal fave of mine. Anyone else wear these proudly to school in Kindergarten? I seriously wish they would bring these back, at least for Children if not for adults, so that I may live vicariously.  I would totally collect all the charms. Like modern day Jibbets.

(Disclaimer: My apologies to the people I snagged these from, as I can no longer recall where they came from I have been holding onto them for so long...I'm usually big on siting my sources. I think Ebay.)

Official announcement: After deep thought, all posts will now be made to this main page. Older posts will be stored on other pages for reading purposes if anyone cares. Good story. Thank you.

Those pics bring back such memories! I loved all of those things. I had a big Strawberry Shortcake that you squeezed her belly and she blew air that smelled like strawberries. Kind of weird now that I think about it, but I loved it at the time!
And I was going to vote for everything on one page. I just forget to look at the other pages.
Hope you're feeling well.

For the record, I anxiously check every page you have!

I have several of my strawberry shortcakes and care bear dolls/figures that Avery plays with everyday! I had completely forgotten about the charms though! Everyone had them. I found several in that picture that I had....oh how I tried to get the lid off the toothpaste...

Thanks for the blast from the past!

Aww such great memories! Totally had that same strawberry shortcake doll, when I see these pictures it makes me remember that smell. :) I wonder what toys will be like this for our kids?

I had the second one from the right (top row) of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls! And I had totally forgotten about those charms!
Ah, nostalgia. :)
Also, I kinda like the different pages because I tend to think compartmentalized anyway. But, it's your site! Whatever works!

I had the Strawberry Shortcake that blew sweet-smelling incense too! And I LOVED Care Bears, of course. Had the movie. And I completely forgot about that charm necklace but I totally had one!!!

I like the different sections on your blog cause it's organized. But I won't be torn up if you change it. :-)

okay people. i think you're right. I'm going back to compartmentalization. im too much of a freak not to.

I TOTALLY had all of those charms... wish I knew where they went! They're probably in my parents' nasty dungeon of a basement!

Oh so much fun! I guess everyone had the strawberry shortcake that blew the sweet smelling air. I still have mine thanks to my mom who never gets rid of anything. Still smells the same. My whole bedroom was done in strawberry shortcake. Funny too because I am so anti-character room decor or clothing or anything else come to think of it.

Let's see, what else could I add to this list.. Cabbage Patch Kids, Rainbow Brite, and Jem. And again, thanks to my mom, my children have those things in their toy collection now.
