It seems like just mere days ago that God brought this incredible little person into our lives. It's funny to think, at first, that I thought I might have a hard time loving her as much as my sweet Aiden. It's funny how much love one person's heart is capable of. I blinked, she's one, and I'm amazed at the blessings God has brought us through her. What an incredible gift.
Okay. Enough of the serious/cheesy stuff. Check out the blur on that invite. No stalkers, please.
We celebrated the occasion with a little shindig at our place. A few family and Emerson's friends-but can I start by showing off our cake? If there's anyone in Montgomery in need of a fabo cake lady, I have found her. Homemade from scratch and to die for...this woman has got some skills. The cake was uhhh a bit large, {I could have folded Emmy up and stuck her inside so she could pull of a Marilyn Monroe} And if anyone wants to know how much I paid for this mug-just ask-(it's unbelievable, if you know anything about cake pricing!)
Check out the digs. The shirt was made by Abbie, a friend of mine who is getting up and started with monogramming and appliques. I thought she did a fabulous job! We trade services a lot...Again, Montgomery-need a monogramming chick-this is your gal!
Ahh the mass chaos of opening gifts with little ones...
Ummmm are you guys sure this is all for me?
I am a "dainty" girl {Mrs. Jamey calls me that, and Mommy thinks she's right...Mommy was a little disappointed I didn't show my true pigfest colors that day...}
After all our wonderful guests left {ALL of whom offered to clean up, and some who read my blog tried to take off their shoes (oops)} Jamin and I could be found while the babes were sleeping at the after party. Cleaning up the carnage-this was half of it. Glad the kiddies had a blast! I'm kinda glad its over. SHEW!
